We are a Nottingham based acoustic band. Starting out as just Lucy Alexandra Mearns and David McCrea performing together as a duet, Zebra Crossing fastly developed into an energetic acoustic band. The band was first started in the mids of Septeber, 2013 and since then Emmett joined on percussion and and about a week later, Kim Keeton joined playing bass. Our first practice went extremely well as we managed to get four songs complete and ready within a couple of hours, ready to play an open mic at The Guitar Bar later on in the evening. Over the last couple of weeks we have been playing three to four open mics in one week, all of which went well and were very much enjoyed both by us and our audiences. There are links with Refraction within our performances, playing the same songs re-arraged but our overall sound is now completey changed. It is like we have all been pushed into a new direction.

Currently, we do not have any tracks recorded but our plans are to hopefully get into a recording studio after Christmas. Our plans for the next month or so are to broaden our set list and tighten up our performance. We plan to practice much more but, hold back on the open mics for a little while. We all want to achieve something out of this and our biggest goal to date is to try and be aired on BBC's Radio Nottingham. Ofcourse, to be played on any radio would be great but, we are wanting to aim high.
